Marketing Coordinator

Book of the Month is looking for a highly organized and ambitious coordinator to assist with initiatives across marketing channels and help drive our growth. This is a great opportunity to get real hands-on experience in building a digital marketing and subscription eCommerce business.

Potential Responsibilities 

Depending on business opportunities and team needs, you will work on one or more of the following across our marketing team.  Note: it is important that applicants are open to working across all of the projects and channels below: 

  • Assist in the daily operations of our media buying program
  • Provide support for brand partnerships
  • Assist in management of member experience programs such as refer-a-friend, BFF loyalty program, annual reading challenge and branded swag program
  • Collect and assemble member sentiment and feedback across all touch points
  • Build and schedule emails; monitor deliverability and analyze performance 
  • Assist in managing paid performance marketing
  • Coordinate and grow our social influencer marketing program
  • Assist in managing our organic social media channels
  • Update marketing calendar, project plans, team agendas, and other relevant documents  
  • Assist the Director of Marketing with other projects related to the growth and success of the business

Requirements 

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • 1-2 years experience in marketing, consulting, sales, or project management
  • Extremely detail-oriented and resourceful
  • Highly analytical; uses data regularly to drive decisions
  • Able to prioritize work effectively while juggling multiple tasks
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
  • Highly motivated to grow and learn
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Well versed with social media platforms and the media landscape.
  • Fan of new release fiction
