Book of the Month is seeking to hire an Associate of Supply Chain & Planning who will work cross-functionally to drive operational improvements throughout all aspects of our membership experience. This is a unique opportunity to be heavily involved in the most important parts of a rapidly growing ecommerce brand. You Will...

Inventory Management and Fulfillment

Assess current inventory levels, develop projections for future orders, and clearly present your recommendations to the Director of Finance.
Review order fulfillment progress on a daily basis and ensure issues are cleared timely.
Monitor the movement of customer packages from shipment to delivery, identifying delays and following up with our shipping partner.
Develop and communicate plans for ordering and fulfilling new products or promotional materials to our operations and warehouse teams.

Process monitoring and reporting

Conceptualize and develop reports that allow you to monitor operations across the business and proactively identify existing and potential issues using our current BI tool (Tableau) .
Manage the monthly renewal process and ensure members are charged appropriately.
Work closely with engineering and product to properly identify issues and design and release fixes.

Special projects

Analyze last-mile delivery solutions.
Research packaging alternatives.

About You...

Bachelor's degree from a strong school, preferably in an analytical discipline.
3-5 years of experience in an analytical or operational role at an ecommerce/high growth company, consulting company, or related field.
Demonstrated analytical problem solving capabilities.
Proven ability to identify, assess the severity, and mitigate operational issues.
Experience working across multiple functions a plus.
Capable of teaching yourself how to use enterprise software tools (e.g. Tableau) and interested in testing and implementing new tools.
Strong Excel skills are a must.
