Director of Growth Marketing

Since relaunching in 2015, we’ve been growing rapidly ever since.  We are now looking for a hands-on, results-oriented marketer to help build our marketing organization as we continue to expand across organic and paid media channels.  This position incorporates aspects of both "performance" and "brand" marketing.  This is a special opportunity to manage across multiple functions at an at-scale subscription eCommerce company.  The position will initially report to the CEO or COO.

About the Role -- Functional Responsibilities

You will start by taking on some but not all of the following responsibilities, depending on your experience and expertise. 

  • Performance marketing including Facebook, Instagram, Adwords, TV/OTT, podcasts and other relevant channels
  • Leads emails, logged out site experience, conversion flows and CRM
  • Affiliates, partnerships, sponsorships, and brand ambassadors
  • Organic social media, community building, live/experiential marketing, PR and communications
  • Member experience

About the Role -- Other Components

  • Further develop the marketing team by identifying key open positions and leading hiring for those roles
  • Develop reporting and analytics that succinctly explains results to senior management
  • Serve as a zealous advocate for our company's mission, and as a champion of growth at efficient marketing cost

About You

  • 7+ years experience developing and executing performance based marketing campaigns measured end-to-end from CAC to LTV.
  • 5+ years experience driving customers to digital products where online purchase is the primary conversion event for the business.
  • Experience developing brands and managing organic media channels where you can articulate the performance impact on the business of your own work product.
  • Top-notch analytical skills with a proven ability to work through data to find opportunities and insights that are not readily apparent.
  • You are extremely organized.
  • You care deeply about creating consumer brands that customers love.
  • You read at least one commercial fiction book each month for fun.
