Manager, App & Product Marketing

We are seeking an ambitious and experienced App & Product Marketing Manager to drive adoption of our native app and oversee the rollout of new in app features. The ideal candidate has a passion for understanding user behavior, good project management skills and an analytical mindset. This is a great opportunity to lead product marketing at a rapidly growing and innovative D2C brand with a sizable existing audience. 

You will:

  • Lead efforts to drive non-member and member adoption of our native app.
  • Develop member communication plans that deliver successful launches for new app features.
  • Curate in-app content and messaging to create an engaging and seamless user experience.
  • Partner with Retention Marketing and Product to improve performance of existing features and develop ideas for future builds.
  • Embrace an iterative and action-oriented approach to building and improving our overall app experience.
  • Over time, manage conversion of non-members from free to paid. 

About You 

  • 4+ years of experience in product marketing, product management, or content marketing, with at least 2 years in mobile app marketing or development. 
  • An understanding of the mobile app ecosystem with a keen eye for UX, content, adoption and usage.
  • Ability to articulate the value product features create and develop strong product positioning and messaging hierarchy.  
  • Experience in content and/or media companies preferred. 
  • Passionate about delivering incredible consumer experiences across channels.
  • Strong ability to use quantitative data to inform qualitative decisions.
  • Detail-oriented, well-organized, and able to effectively manage complex projects.
  • A love of reading and contemporary fiction!
