Book of the Month is seeking a Senior FP&A Analyst who will be responsible for developing, managing, and continuously improving our financial models and their utility. This role will utilize company data to make informed projections about future performance and customer behavior to help drive decision-making for the organization.
Create and manage the company’s financial models, including forecasting, budgeting, resource allocation, and long-range planning
Develop KPIs to track company performance and identify opportunities for growth and increased efficiency
Prepare and present results and trends to management including variances and explanations
Make recommendations for action as appropriate regarding forecasting, performance and special projects
Take on a range of special projects for the Finance group as needed.
Bachelor's degree in an analytical discipline.
3-4 years of experience in an analytical role at an ecommerce company, or professional services company. (Previous experience working in a startup/high-growth environment is a plus.)
Demonstrated ability to create and manage financial models in Excel
Knowledge of direct to consumer concepts is a plus (e.g., cohorts, customer acquisition cost (CAC), lifetime value (LTV), and all related concepts.)
Capable of teaching yourself how to use enterprise software tools (e.g. Tableau) and interested in testing and implementing new tools.
