Associate, Strategy & Operations

 We are looking for a results oriented self-starter to join our growth team at Book of the Month. This is a unique position that will work across multiple growth initiatives, strategic projects, and marketing channels and will change over time. If you are eager to help grow a business and see your hard work pay off, this could be the job for you.


Initial Responsibilities 

  • Assist in launching our new Bookclubs product, including: (a) overall program management; (b) email sending; (c) working with product and engineering teams to analyze and improve user experience; and (d) building out a marketing program 
  • Manage our social influencer marketing programs by growing our business with bloggers, YouTubers, affiliates and other social media influencers, and analyzing and reporting results
  • Assist in overseeing strategic partnerships, podcasts and other media buys, including identifying new opportunities, program management, and analyzing and reporting results 
  • Prepare reports that are both quantitative and qualitative: while it is imperative that you understand the numbers, it is equally important that you can explain the bigger picture and how it all fits together 


  • Bachelor’s degree plus 1-2 years experience in consulting, project management, data analytics, or performance marketing 
  • Highly analytical, detail oriented, and resourceful
  • Able to prioritize work effectively while juggling multiple tasks
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
  • Highly motivated to grow and learn
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Proficient in Excel
