Director of Marketing

Since relaunching the brand in late 2015, we’ve grown rapidly every year and are now an at-scale subscription eCommerce business.  We are looking for a hands-on marketing director to help us drive continued growth.  The position will oversee several marketing channels as well as the creative team.  The Director of Marketing will report to the CEO, and there is opportunity to rise over time based on demonstrated success.

Key Responsibilities

Optimize and grow our marketing programs including:

  • Organic social media
  • Brand ambassadors 
  • PR and celebrity guest judges
  • Special projects
  • Creative campaign and asset development

Functional responsibilities across channels:

  • Analyze and report on results along with steps for continual improvement
  • Devise and implement strategies, concepts and aesthetics that drive results
  • Manage and organize teams and agencies/vendors
  • Develop business processes that efficiently organize work flows
  • Train, mentor and evaluate marketing/creative personnel

About You

  • 4 to 7 years of relevant experience at a d2c eCommerce brand or agency; MBA a plus
  • Experience managing performance marketing, customer acquisition at scale, organic marketing, and creative/design
  • You are a true “doer” who likes to stay responsible for details. You create briefs, spreadsheets and slides yourself when most effective
  • Intuitive understanding and perspective on BOTM’s brand, mission and audience
  • Math and analytics are core strengths, and you make few decisions without using it
  • Ability to accurately assess and candidly discuss business performance and outcomes
  • Steady and effective under pressure
